We've met our goal! With your help we can do even more!

We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to your generosity, we’ve reached our $25,000 goal to bring a Therapy Dog to the San Jose Police Department!

Therapy dogs provide incredible benefits to our brave officers, offering stress relief, emotional support, and a comforting presence during challenging times.

Your support, along with the remarkable dollar for dollar matching contribution from Diane Brandenburg and the Brandenburg Family Foundation, has made this milestone possible. But we’re not stopping here. Together, we can go even further!

Every dollar raised above our goal will help ensure the sustainability of this vital program and other SJPD K-9 unit needs.

Make your contribution before midnight tonight (Tuesday, December 3rd) to take advantage of Giving Tuesday and help us make a lasting impact!

Diane Brandenburg
and
Brandenburg Family Foundation

Diane Brandenburg has been deeply inspired by the incredible response to the San Jose Police Foundation’s initiative to fund a full-time therapy dog for the San Jose Police Department. The enthusiasm and generosity of the community have demonstrated the importance of this effort, which aims to support the mental health and well-being of officers and staff who face immense stress in their roles. Witnessing the initiative’s momentum and the tangible difference it will make, Diane has expressed her heartfelt admiration for the donors and their shared commitment to enhancing the department's wellness resources.

The Brandenburg Family Foundation has been a fantastic partner in our efforts to take care of the people who take care of us, and Diane’s leadership has only strengthened that bond. Moved by the overwhelming support for this initiative, Diane has decided to amplify its impact by increasing her original pledge. She has now committed to matching all donations from $15,000 up to $25,000! This significant contribution underscores the Brandenburg Family Foundation’s belief in the value of mental health support within law enforcement and its confidence in the community’s dedication to making this vision a reality. Together, we are ensuring that those who protect and serve our city have the resources they need to thrive.
